Each Tuesday, a farmers market sprouts up on the lawn of the historic Cobblestone Farm with the 19th Ticknor-Campbell Farmhouse museum, heirloom gardens and striking three story oak timber frame barn complete farm animals.
At this living farm museum, you will find hens wandering amongst the shoppers, and curious goats stretching their soft muzzles over the fence. The grassy setting is a perfect place to shop for vegetables, eggs, honey, and bread from our many vendors, browse for local seeds, vegetables and wildflower plants for your garden, to enjoy a picnic and let the kids play but, please, don't chase the rooster!
Every week, in addition to offering fantastic produce and other food vendors, we transform this space into a garden party, complete with historic lawn games, music, storytelling, and educational workshops for children and adults. Learn to fix a bike, pickle a cucumber, build a fairy house...or just relax on the lawn as the kids play in a safe environment.
Indoor restrooms are available in the Cobblestone Farm barn until 5pm. After 5pm, there are two portable outhouses available in the parking lot adjacent to the farm.
The market is a wonderful place for kids to play. We are in a park, so please dress for the outdoors. On sunny days, bring sunscreen, hat and water for drinking (we have a water cooler to refill bottles). On really hot days, we sometimes hook up the sprinkler, so consider bringing a bathing suit.
Walking or biking to the market is fun! Parking for bicycles is available and for suggested bike routes, see the City of Ann Arbor bike map. If you take the bus, AATA route #7 and route #5D stop in front of Buhr Park. Cars can enter off of Packard Road, and ample parking is available Buhr Park.
Vendors accept cash and most accept checks and/or credit cards. You can also get market tokens with a bridge card or use a credit card and get market credit tokens.
We apologize in advance to our neighbors and their furry friends - pets are not allowed at our Farmers' Market. We do have a dog parking area with water and treats for you to leash your pet while you shop.
Thank you for not Smoking. Although the market is outdoors, smoking is not permitted at Farmers Markets, per Michigan Health Department regulations.
Please support Cobblestone Farm Market reduce waste by bringing your own reusable bags, water bottles, utensils and food containers. Separate receptables are available for collecting compostable and recyclable waste at the market.
The market will be cancelled if there are severe thunderstorms in the area.
On hot days, the market will remain open taking place largely in the shade.
